some thoughts

It was a dark and chilly evening, the clock was ticking at7:30. I was returning home after an evening walk nearby. Incidently, my wandering eyes happened to fall on an old woman, possibly in her 60s, crying and shouting. She was probably mentally disturbed. A lot of people were walking the streets and all of them were trying not to see her. Well, I was one of them. All of a sudden as I was passing her, I saw a man coming to our direction with some cooked food wrapped in a paper. He gave that to the old woman and she, though not able to thank him 'formally', was looking straight into his eyes, that's why they say-eyes say when words become too superficial. I was staring at them all along with Phill Collin's 'Another Day In Paradise' ringing in my mind. Well, it was a sight too difficult to 'pretend' to have forgotten. I had just watched a fusion of our lost humanity and a shear innocence, of a noble mind and a pure heart.
