This shows that Job’s life is not worth much, but more than that it shows that at this point, Job does not care that much about his life; he wouldn’t care that much if it were to be broken. ... 73) Here, Job is saying “I have been virtuous and it hasn’t made one bit of difference. ... He is Causing Job pain, despite the fact that Job has been good. ... 79) This is God speaking as the “Unnamable Voice from the Whirlwind” to Job.
