It is a story about their quick rise to fame, and their tragic down fall. We have exclusive interviews you can’t see anywhere else, and the in depth story that will only be brought to you by, UPN’s Behind the Band. Shot of Roosevelt High Host: It all started here at this local Seattle high school. When four friends decided to follow their dreams and ambitions and form a band. Duncan: yeh, we all had the same physics class and we would sit around and talk, you know, not paying attention. Then I thought; if Russell Crow can make a band, why cant we? We were all really excited about it. You see us all sitting around the table Duncan: You guys want’ a start a band? no one looks up. Yeh, sure. Camera kind of lagers, and we all kind of nod. Duncan: Yeh we were all really excited. Host: They were broke, using most of their money to buy bubble tea, they traveled far and wide, searching for cheap instruments that would fit their personal style and budget. Pics of band at garage sale Looking at instruments, looking at price tags, like”noooo” At garage sale They purchased the finest instruments their money could buy and they started practicing. Hours and hours at a time. They had no support from their families or friends. Sheep mom: We weren’t very supportive of anything he did. Sheep’s dad: Yeh, we never really loved him. Drum: Yeh, we had a lot of fun in those early days. We were jamming a lot, getting some gigs. But people would always ask us where we got the name “(cough) Penis Envy” and it really is a funny story.
