Every one of us has made a mistake in judgment that causes important consequences for ourselves or others. In Feeling Sorry for Celia by Jaclyn Moriarty, Elizabeth Clarry must face her best friends constant disappearances. In Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, Guy Montag must face his wife, who refuses to accept what he now believes in. Elizabeth and Celia have been best friends for as long as Elizabeth can remember. When Celia runs off to join the circus, Elizabeth assumes that when she returns, she’ll be the same free spirit that she has always known. Unfortunately, when Celia does return, everything has changed.
