Big Daddy
Big Daddy, starring Adam Sandler, is a feature film about a middle aged man named Sonny Koufax, a law school graduate who spends most of his week at home doing nothing. When his girlfriend Vanessa leaves him for an older man, Sonny attempts to be more mature, and when a five year old child named Julian turns up on his doorstep, he decides to adopt him, under his friend Kevin’s name. Sonny and Julian develop a strong relationship, but Sonny is eventually caught out, and Julian is taken away by Social Services, but ends up being adopted by his natural father, and Sonny’s friend Kevin. Sonny has a lot of friends in the movie, and makes many too, and values each and every one of them. A good example of this is the scene in the courtroom, when a trial is held to see if Sonny is capable of looking after Julian.
