Understanding Human Values For most of my adult life I have thought that most people who went to church were hypocrites. ... To think that he could sin and forsake the values of the bible throughout the week and praise hallelujah Sunday morning just like everyone else. For the most part of my life I could say I’ve gotten most of my life’s values from attending church and from my parents. ... From my mother I have learned values that I try to live by today. ... Also from my father I was taught some important values yet he didn’t attend church or go around praising the lord. He taught me perhaps my most important life’s values that taking care of your family seeing to there comfort and needs should be my first priority and that anything worth doing is worth doing your best. ... As I’ve have gotten older and matured my values that I learned from my childhood through the church and family have been tested on occasion.
