Global Poverty
Throughout history, poverty has been prevalent. Many believe that poverty is a social problem that has a solution. Considering poverty’s appearance in all eras of recorded time, one must ask, “Is poverty really a problem? ... If there is no solution for poverty, then it may not be a problem, but a social inevitability. ... In each one of these political structures, poverty was a part of the society just as much as luxury was. Though many of these structures tried to put an end to the poverty of the time, none succeeded. With information such as this, poverty quickly changes from a problem to an inevitability, a necessity in some ways. This is not to say that poverty is a good thing in any way, but if there hasnt been a society without it, could this not lead one to believe that it is essential to society?
