Cell Phones are Dangerous
Cell Phones have become increasingly popular over the last decade. In a poll conducted over the internet on “Are cell phones a necessity or a luxury? ... We have become accustomed to the convenience of cell phones. ... Especially the situation with drivers talking on their cell phones while driving. Statistics show that drivers speaking on a cell phone are four times more likely to be involved in an accident. In majority all crashes, the drivers using the cell phone were in the striking vehicle. There are currently more then 120 million cell phones in use within the United State of America alone. ... At that rate of new subscribers cell phone purchases are exceeding the birth rate of the country. A survey in 1995 done by Prevention Magazine reported that 85% of all cell phone owners use their phones while driving at least some of the time. If such statistics alone hold true, that means there are right now about 100 million drivers talking on their phones while driving.
