Everyday paramedics save the lives of others with out a second thought. ... The Canadian Medical Association works together with these individuals to create a partnership and improve the standards of health care for Canadians, while at the same time producing benefits for the paramedics and allowing the profession to grow nationally. This paper will examine the role of the Canadian Medical Association, what and how it accredits, and its accreditation in the relationship between the CMA and the field of paramedicine.
