Should Janet Jackson be punished for her performance at the Super Bowl?
On February 1st 2003, during the halftime show at the US Super Bowl which was televised nationally, singer Justin Timberlake tore off part of Janet Jacksons costume, exposing her breast which was partially obscured by a sun-shaped, metal nipple decoration. Consequently, 72,000 fans in Reliant Stadium and an estimated 100 million watching around the world saw more of Janet than expected. The question that is now eating away at the minds of countless Americans and citizens around the world is to punish or not to punish Janet Jackson?
