Thesis: Between doing the laundry and grocery shopping, I feel that grocery shopping is the most time consuming household chore. Outline: A. Laundry 1. has to be done a couple times every week 2. have to sort before wash 3. have to gather, sort, wash, fold, hang, and put away B. Grocery shopping 1. has to be done at least twice a week 2. run the gauntlet of shopping aisles 3. list, go buy, put in car, take out of car, bring inside, and put away. Two household chores compared. Let's face it, everyone has chores to do. And the most time consuming chores are doing laundry and getting groceries. Both are necessary evils in the world of chores and both take up a lot of our time. I feel that between the two, grocery shopping is the longest. Consider, if you will, the act of doing laundry. Everyone, I hope, wears clothes on a daily basis.
