Declaration of Independence to your parents
THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE In Congress, March 15, 2004 THE UNANIMOUS DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE PREAMBLE Mom, Dad, today is the day of my 18th birthday. I have lived under your tyrannical rule as my parents during this period. It is now time for me to cut my ties with you as my parents and be an independent adult. THE POLITICAL THEORY OF THE DECLARATION You have pushed me to the point where I can no longer stand to live under the same roof as you. I feel you have served your purpose as parents to the best of your ability, and in so, are no longer of use to me.
