To work out resistance I use the formula: ¡°Resistance = Voltage/Current¡± Finally to work out resistivity I am going to use the formula: Resistivity = Resistance(§Ù) x Cross-section area(m©÷) Length(m) R= ¥ñL A Y=mx+C On the graph L is x and R is y. So using the formula: Resistivity = Gradient (m) x Area I will be able to get the resistivity using the graph which would be more accurate because of the line of best fit.
