No one can deny the key role that intellect plays in society. Not for systematical reasoning and other cognitive skills set up by generations of scientists and thinkers, the modern industial world couldn¡¯t have come into being. In recogition to this, our society has put greater emphasis on the intellect in order to sustain the development, whereas some non-intellectual skills are ignored. ... Whether or not the bones are strong decides the strenth and puissance of the organic body. ... As we enjoy music, paintings, poems, novels and sculptures, admiring their beauty, inspiration and plots while forgeting the routine reasoning, we set ourselves free spiritually.
