“Can this really be it, Maderal?” asked Zayifeer, his leather-clad hand wrapped tightly around his Python staff. Out of the four other men behind him, only one stepped forward, answering to the name “Maderal.”. Shrouded within dozens of dark green robes, his face was covered with a steel-like mask, with the only visible marks of two white eye holes and two small black dots for breathing out of his nose, the rest was covered by cloaks. He stepped towards the shining ball of light. Revealing his hand, he lay it out before him in the growing light the sacred artifact emitted. He felt tingling within his fingertips. “Our visions were correct. This is it.” “It cannot be!” yelled a third member of the group as he stepped forward, the ground beneath him trembling from his giant steps. His muscles bulged through a thin brown vest, the dark tan on his rock-hard skin was as natural as the mans anger. “The legends, our myths..they don’t add up to this!” He growled as he rested his massive hand on the glowing sphere of white light, “There must be something else, something bigger, more–“ The tyrant was abruptly interrupted, ending his loud rambling by a smaller young man dressed in white. “Oh please Kosar,” the young man addressed to the human muscle, “Don’t be so easily deceived.” He strode forward, the duo of white strands that hung so peacefully off his back glided with his steps. “Legends, and your people’s so called “myths,” have a tendency of getting exaggerated over the years. This is just what I imagined the Chaosor Globe to be.” The burly man called “Kosar” grunted quietly, yet with pure ferociousness. His “people” that the comrade dressed in white had so disrespectfully talked about were his family, his friends, his race. They believed the Chaosor Globe to be a weapon of pure destruction, and power; something that would be feared by all and craved by the powerful. This mere, ball of solid light could not be what they spoke of! Taking his hand off the globe, Kosar tightened his fists. “Don’t you dare address my people in that tone.” He said calmly, yet with veins sprouting from his thick neck. “They do not lie, this cannot be the globe they spoke of. And if you don’t believe my words...” He stopped, both men staring each other straight in the eye, “Then I will tear your filthy head off!” His screams echoed. Kosar was prone to getting angry too easily, and whenever he got mad, it wasn’t good. The young man wasn’t phased however, instead, a light smile arose on his smooth face, and then a small chuckle. “You’re as powerless as you are stupid, Kosar.” Anger struck the muscled man as if it were lighting, his eyes, once brown with inhabitant anger, were now dark, consisting of only hate. He let out a roar that could be heard from the surface of the underground cave, even the other comrades were startled, yet the young man in white still was not the least bit frightened. “ARGGGGH! YOU are the weaker one! Don’t you ever call me powerless! AHHHH!” And with that, Kosar lashed out, his long husky arms reaching for the skull of his victim; with just one hand he knew he could completely grasp the head of the young man.
