They’ve Created a Monster

What is an identity, and where does it come from? How can you get one, and when is it needed? An identity is the answer to the questions who are you or who am I? An identity however, is not something that you are born with. One must pick up an identity somewhere in their life most likely during adolescent years. It was a Friday night, my two sisters, my brother and I piled into the back of our big blue suburban with my parents. That day was the closing of Orange, Texas’ K- mart. This was a big deal to everyone, that night K-mart was open until midnight and everything had to go. We drove down to the shopping center with the big red lit up K and piled out one by one. After spending the whole night inside, my parents decided that they had done just about all of the damage that they could do.
