Pullen Park
Although there are numerous parks in the Raleigh area, Pullen Park seems to be the favorite of a lot of the citizens in the area. Pullen Park is a very relaxing and enjoyable place for the people of Raleigh and the Greater Raleigh Area to visit. The park’s beautiful landscaping, historical functioning carousel, and various activities throughout the park are the makings for a wonderful day.
Through the visions of Richard Stanhope Pullen, Pullen Park became North Carolina’s first public park. He hired a Park Keeper in 1888, Wiley A. ... When visiting this park one will notice large magnolias, large cedars, and willow oaks. ...
