Describe explain and analysis a religious or moral issue in a TV soap

For this piece of coursework, I will be looking at Eastenders at the storyline about Dot and Ethel and the euthanasia issue. ...

Euthanasia is considered to be a moral and a religious issue. It is classed as a moral issue because some people believe it is right and some people believe it is wrong. It is also considered to be a religious issue because there are some people that believe that euthanasia is totally wrong and totally unacceptable.

Religious people believe that euthanasia is wrong because they believe that because god gave everybody life then only he should have the right to take it away.

Although religious people believe that euthanasia is wrong, Ethel is an atheist, which means that she doesn’t believe in god or religion and therefore believes that Euthanasia is ok because she does not cares how she dies.
