The play Romeo and Juliet itself started with lines that directly tell the story has a tragic ending. Romeo and Juliet being called “star-crossed” lovers means they were not favored by the stars which are associated to destiny. ... Because no matter how much we try to be cautious, we will walk straight in to our fate. ... If not for this incident, Romeo and his friends would not know of the party. And it so happened that Romeo was heartbroken and so his friends found the idea of gate crashing worthwhile. They wanted Romeo to find a new love. In my opinion, from what I know of human nature, it could be possible that Romeo had conditioned his mind that he’ll find a new love and this helped him fall for Juliet more immediately. ...
It had to be the next day, I repeat, the day right after their wedding that Romeo encountered Tybalt. ... But Romeo had to be already married to Juliet when he met her cousin and so he had had to treat him nicely, the least civilly. ... The act could be considered as mockery because of the family history and Romeo had to say those things. ... Maybe it was another twist of destiny that Romeo was so blinded by love and devotion that he let himself be beaten up by Tybalt. ... And why oh why did Romeo have to so emotional that he gets so out of hand? Romeo had killed Tybalt for revenge. Not only did it add up to the family feud, the event also made Romeo receive banishment for his punishment.
