My Hobbies are playing basketball and enjoying music This is my second year with the Millennium group And this program has tough me the fundamentals of becoming a man The Topic I will be talking about to day is Why African American history is good for the youth African American history Reasons for knowing African American history is because African American history is apart of American history and you need to know the full history not jus a part of history African Americans have made great contributions to America and the world We have contributed in many ways like inventions, political causes, literature, music, sports and entertainment in general. What makes the African American history so important is the significant impact that it had on shaping American history. Such events as the Civil War and the Civil Rights movement stem from the effects of slavery in America. These two events alone have shaped America Learning history draws upon established theories, techniques, and skills of action science intervention we learn history so we don't repeat our mistakes.
