N.B.A. vs. N.C.A.A. Ever since I could walk I wanted to play basketball. Growing up my dad told me stories of when he used to play basketball in high school. He played for a local school in the Toledo area, Rossford High School. He played four years while he was there. In nineteen seventy five his senior year his teem made it all the way to the state finals but lost in the last round. I used to love hearing him tell me about his team all most wining the state championship. That is how I began my love for the game of basketball. I started playing basketball when I was seven years old. Growing up as a kid I idolized Larry Bird who played in the N.B.A. for the Boston Celtics. I don’t know why I loved him so much but I suppose the reason why is that my dad liked him a lot too. In Middle School I played my seventh and eighth grade year.
