With the advent of online computer games, many gamers sought new ways of playing and experiencing them with other people, and of course how to maximize the level of fun without taking away from the game itself. ... In fact, this is becoming rather casual and causing several clans to die before they are able to get into the clan community. ...
Let’s say you decided that you want to start a clan, for whatever reason you don’t feel like joining another clan or are unable, you decide that you want to create your own legacy in the gaming community. It’s difficult to start a clan by yourself, one thing that I would suggest is to get together at least two other guys, friends, that play the same game and talk to them about it and think up realistic plans for this clan you want to start, discuss in advance how you want to recruit and what kind of people you want to recruit. Make sure that your friends are into it as much as you are because a common reason why clans break up is because people aren’t committed to their clans and when their clan loses (and you are guaranteed to lose) people leave, mind you, when I say friends they can be people online who you also want to start a clan with, just as long as they are as committed as you are. ... One of the first things you should do is post on message boards and sites in the gaming community that you are starting a new clan.
