The Conspiracy Behind John F. Kennedy’s Assassination
November 22, 1963 was a day that John Fitzgerald Kennedy was going to win the hearts of the Texan voters before his re-election. Kennedy thought he would be enjoying a limousine ride through the streets of Dallas, Texas, however a former United States Marine, Lee Harvey Oswald, decided to assassinate Kennedy at roughly 12:20 p. ... At first glance it appears that it is a clear cut case that Oswald is the lone gunman, but diving into the history behind the assassination and an almost apparent cover up, it starts to show signs of a multiparty conspiracy possible including the mafia, anti-Castro Cubans, the military, and perhaps the CIA. ... By looking at the infeasibility of one shooter, the motivation that other groups had, and an apparent cover up after the assassination, it will be clear that there was a conspiracy to take the life of John F. Kennedy. ... Regardless of his connections the simple logistics of the assassination prove Oswald was not a lone shooter. ... In the assassination the second and third shots were taken too close together to allow one shooter to reload (Hall). ... Since the 60’s many agencies have been commissioned to further investigate the assassination. The House Select Committee on Assassinations and the Assassination Records Review Board both concluded a conspiracy did in fact exist. ... 3 percent chance that a second shooter was present and therefore conclude it was a conspiracy (Lardner). Looking at the Zapruder film you can see that Kennedy’s head moves back and to the left, which means that the final shot had to come from a different angle, as the Book Depository was located behind Kennedy and would have caused his head to move forward when the bullet struck.
