Biography Assignment Your job is to research an influential person in the Cosmetology field. Your teacher has determined which person you will research. You will share what you learn in three different ways: in a typed report, orally to your classmates, and visually in either a poster or computer generated title page for you essay. Part I – Report Directions You will be given an outline that has all the questions you’ll need to answer about your person. The questions have been organized into 3 sections. Introduction- You’ll need to have an introductory paragraph that explains who you researched, what this person is known for, and when and where this person’s product(s) or services first became available. Body - Each one of the sections in your outline represents a section of the body of your essay and should be at least one paragraph long. (Each paragraph must have at least 5 complete sentences.) Conclusion -Your conclusion should give a sense of closure to your report. You could make a prediction about how your person’s products or services will continue to influence the Cosmetology industry or how the products or services will change to meet customer needs. Or, you might explain how what you have learned has changed the way you think about the products you use or the services you give or plan to use. Another idea is to encourage your classmates to learn more about your person and then give specific information on how they could do this.
