Partial-Birth Abortion is Murder Partial-birth abortion is murder because it is an unlawful procedure, it involves the action of one human being killing another human, and it is an act of purposely stopping the progress of an unborn human life. There are many people in the world today that agree and disagree with the partial-birth procedure. Maureen Dreslinski feels the same way I do. Dreslinski stated in The Detroit News, “Deliberately causing death of a human being, whether in or out of the womb, is murder. To purposely stop his or her human heartbeat is murder- the ultimate in child abuse.” Art Green on the other hand does not feel the same way, he believes that “there are too many people in the world already and we should just let them go.” In this statement, to me, Green sounds a little insensitive. Abortion has been a very commonly used procedure to “get rid” of unwanted children. Personally I think it is the wrong way to go. If two people are willing to participate in the sexually behaviors that cause you to get pregnant; then they should be willing to take on the responsibilities of a child. So many people think that it is no big deal if they have sex because if something does happen and they get pregnant then they can always rely on the source of aborting the child.
