So back to the point at hand: how can Republicans who have fought to economically "engineer" oil as the winner have the nerve to cite Hayek? Instead the answer lies in the opposite direction -- eliminating every single tax advantage for oil, not to mention the billions footed by taxpayers to maintain the strategic reserve and militarily defend fossil fuel interests overseas.
