o Glaxo Smith-Cline, AstraZeneca, Wyeth, and Eli Lilly have warned against reselling
• Canadian brand-name pharmaceuticals 30%-80% less expensive because of price regulations.
• Generally illegal for Americans to buy Canadian drugs (considered unsafe), but loophole in internet sales.
o Minnesota and Wisconsin have set up websites to help citizens buy Canadian drugs
o Montgomery, AL and Springfield, MA have programs for city employees to buy the drugs.
