Canadians may spend more time watching American television but it has been misconstrued how this actually happens. How Canadians watch television can be broken down to: if what Canadians view is proportional to what is broadcast, what Canadians show a preference to watch and how Canadians may alternatively get their amount of Canadian culture. Robert Fulford’s comment indicates that Canadians watch more American television and therefore Canadian culture may be at risk of being over-powered by American culture. Stating that television is the most pervasive conveyor of culture, Robert Fulford looks for whom to blame for this travesty.
