Examine the key features of the cosmological argument
for the existence of God.
The cosmological argument tries to prove the existence of God by examining evidence from the cosmos. Scholars have called this type of argument an aposteriori argument, which means that it can be argued from experience and things we can see or know. The argument tries to prove there is a cause behind the creation of the universe and that the first cause is God.
This argument pre-dates Christianity and Plato developed one of its earliest forms. ... Thomas Aquinas who said that this life or soul was God. Aquinas wrote five ways that proved the existence of God in his book, “Summa Theologica”.
