Age
Income can also varies according to your age, where the highest earners intend to be between the ages of 25 to 54. The table from the ABS for August 2001 showed that in that year the 55-59 age bracket earned the highest mean income per week which at $989, while those aged 15-19 earned the lowest at $388, followed by those aged 20-24 ($612) and so on. This table showed that the income levels are low in the earlier years of working life.
