What does it mean to be an American?
Can an immigrant from China really be considered an American? Without being a citizen, and in the country on a green card can someone from the Polynesian Islands truly think themselves as an American? Utterly and completely, being an American does not refer to citizenship or the place you live, but attitudes. ... Opportunity knocks and an American runs to the door and throws it off its hinges. ...
