I will never forget the day that I met Linda Brent. She shared her life story with me, and it is an experience that will stay with me for the rest of my life, and that is why I would like to share with you some of the incidents about her life. The things I have heard her tell me have change my outlook on rough situations. And I hope they will change yours too.
Linda Brent was born into slavery as a mulatto in North Carolina. ... Living without her mother was one of the hardest things that Linda had to deal with. ... Her parent’s grave sight was a common hide-away for Linda when she felt like everything was just going to go down the drain.
