I remember watching the twin towers collapsing and thinking to myself what is happening. You just begin to think what have we done as a country to deserve this unjust act. Yet the reality of the situation hasn't sent in until the news begins to broadcast everything across the televison. Most of the reports start to say that this was the act of terrorism and that we had been attacked by terrorist. One thing I didn't understand was what a terrorist was or even terrorism. Terrorism to use force and threats to frighten governments. A terrorist a person relating to terrorism. Terrorism, however motivated, baffles people, because they cannot imagine doing these things themselves. This often leads us to assume that terrorists are either mentally deranged or products of a hostile environment. In our society our perspective of a terrorist in totally one-side. We think it's an attack on us as indiviuals, when in fact it's the acts of those indivuals who make our decsicons for us.
