On Tuesday March 2, I experienced my first viewing of a complete live theatre play called Death of a Salesman. ... Because I never saw a live theatre before, I did not know what to expect. ... Willie Loman, a salesman, came home stating he got in one of his many car accidents. ...
Willie’s desire was to become a better salesman and earn more money as he was eventually only getting paid for commission and had no salary. ... After a while, I felt like I was just watching TV, but each time I realized it was live performance in front of me, it made me appreciate it more. ... I felt this to be a high point because Biff seemed to hate his dad and just didn’t want to live with him. ... During the play, I was even thinking that next time I wanted to see a movie, I should see a live play instead. It was interesting to see everything acted out live in front of me, whereas a movie is not created that way at all. In a live play, the actors don’t have to redo the scenes over and over until it’s right. ... I am looking forward to attending another live play at Neptune Theatres.
