Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed of becoming a nurse. I fantasized about being in a hospital, working with doctors and most importantly saving people’s lives. I’ve always cared about the community and tried to help in any way that I could. I would even walk around with a stethoscope and attempt to check everyone’s heartbeat. I even remember always wanting to go to the hospital with my friend’s father who was a physician. The appeal of the medical field is based primarily on the rewards of a career that has so many options and fields, while the sentiment of helping society in an indispensable way cannot be reproduced in any other discipline.
