Hand in Hand with Trust

As children grow into young adults, they are taught morals. A moral is a consciously expressed precept or general truth that is instilled usually by the people closest to them, family peers.(Dictionary.com) An example of a moral is trust. People are taught to trust one another unless they are given a reason not to trust that person. In the drama, Othello, by William Shakespear, Othello is the moor of Venice. He is said to be a man of great morals. What kinds of qualities does he have that makes him this way? Othello doesn’t really say much at the beginning of the drama. We, as readers, learn as the drama progresses that he is trustworthing. He sees things as black and white. There are no “colors” other than those two. He bases his decisions on what people say not how they act. Othello truly believes that because he has such great morals, everyone has them. He also has integrity. Integrity simple means whole or complete. It has been proven by many that when someone has great morals and integrity, they are usually proud of themselves. They don’t boast, but portray their better qualities. Othello is a person who has morals and integrity.
