Does media violence turn children into harmful adolescents or adults? I do not think so, but it is still an ongoing controversy. It may have an impact on the child, but it does not turn them violent on its own. ... This may be true, but this statement does not seclude the viewed violence to just television, but in parents’ actions, too.
I agree that kids may learn how to do certain violent acts from movies and video games, but if they choose to actually do them, it is their own personal decision. It is argued that some children become dangerous at such a young age because of the things that they see or perform in a game. That is not true because most kids know that these things are not real. The reason that some video games are violent is because it is fun for kids, and even adults. Children use violence in games, but like television, the games are not real life either. It is sometimes a release for children to play these games so they can take their anger out on a fictional person than on someone they know or love.
