In academics, I use most of eight cognitive processes. When I study for tests, I use Introverted Thinking in order to analyze and categorize the concepts I am studying. If it was mathematics that I was studying, for example, I would use Introverted Thinking in order to analyze the problems and figure out how to solve them. I also use Extraverted Thinking when I take college courses. I sort and segment things in order to get organized for my class. More organized and structured I am, more likely I will be able to study efficiently and understand concepts better. I also use Introverted Feeling when I evaluate the course I signed up for and decide whether I want to take this course for the whole quarter or drop it. I evaluate the importance of the course material to my personal growth and academic requirement and if it is not worth taking, I drop the course and seek for other courses that are more valuable to me. When I try to get to know professors and classmates, I use Extraverted Sensing. By experiencing and noticing the others in my class, I become more familiar to my classes and more dedicated to them.
