Nursing a person educated and trained to care for the sick or disabled. That’s the definition of nursing but to me is more than that is to be able understand the pain that person is going through. To become involved and develop a relationship between you and the patient. Understanding that you’re the person they are relying on to bring them back to health. That’s what nursing means to me. At first nursing seemed something that was not for me. Mostly girls were in this occupation and hardly any guys. I felt a little embrace signing up for the nursing course at the high school. My mom convinced me that it was the right thing for me and that it was a good occupation to get into she said “the world will always need nurses” that’s in her own words.
