This essay will evaluate and criticise “I’m Drifting From Life,” performed by Sarah P, Sam, Danielle and Alicia, as well as analysing each member’s role, discussing themes and plotline and analysing stage/space. This piece explored different depressing ways people can destroy their own or other’s lives through carelessness. For example the careless act of the heroin addict (Sarah) of stabbing the girl on the phone (Danielle) and causing her to get AIDS, this caused the young girl (Alicia) to get hit by a car. Her death could have easily been prevented if the Mother (Sam) had been more careful and not left her daughter unattended. AIDS eventually led to Danielle’s character murdering the drug addict. It also explored the fact that lives are influenced by other factors whether these things are people, drugs, or money.
