My Purpose of Life What is my purpose? Is it to seek happiness? At whim I could produce a list of all my wants, receive them, and then produce another of twice the length. That's most likely not my purpose, however. Is it to form a family and help further the human race? Plenty of others are already doing that, so that must not be it. Am I to be the good citizen, or the wise teacher, or the passionate lover? Am I to be an explorer of science to enhance human life, or is my purpose simply to exist? Or perhaps my purpose is not for my own benefit but for the benefit of others. In spite of any of these possibilities, I have decided that my role on this earth is to make choices for myself and to live my life to its zenith as an individual; as me. My current living situation aside from academics is a full time part time worker at McDonalds. I was full time, but on account of a bus accident I was in, I had to take a medical decline to a minimum part time job, which has helped my healing process quite a bit. I live alone with my mom. All of my brothers and sisters are grown up and moved out, so I live with my mom and aid her in her health and keep her company so she doesn’t feel lonely. I really enjoy helping people and I have had a passion for doing that for my entire life. Although, I will take a career in the pursuit of people and their betterments, I will not neglect the care and affection of other loved ones back at home such as my mother.
