School Violence
The school is a place to read, write, create and learn. Instead of games, the children bring guns to school. ... School violence, what do I think? Today School violence is part of our daily life in the United States, which occurs because American kids have access to any kind of aggressive movies, sadistic music, and brutal video games. In addition, this media is an important influence on students, which promotes school aggression, but the most essential element is the parent’s education as a guide for their children’s formation. ... This makes a big influence on many kids that might not understand how big of a deal the war is, if a parent is going to let his or her child see all that violence the should always explain the situation and give them good advice so they will not go out and start hurting any body, not even animals, because is not ok for them to carry a gun like the children from Iraq. Many people think that age makes no difference to know what is going on , so they don’t care if the kids see violence on TV or not. ... They must be interested in their children’s life, what kind of television programs they are watching, what they are doing, and help them with how to resolve any situation without drugs, alcohol, and violence. In simpler terms, the media and the parental control could be used to find out about and solve potential violence problems in school at any level.
Even though school shootings have high profile in the United States, schools are one of the safest places for children. Children in school are more likely to be the victim of serious violent crime away from school than while on school.
