There are several ethical dilemmas present in the movie “The Boiler Room.” Just about every character faces some kind of dilemma. Not only are the dilemmas business-related, but there are personal dilemmas throughout the movie as well. The main character is faced with two business dilemmas at different points in the movie. He is also faced with personal dilemmas between him and his “love interest”, as well as the one between him and his father. At the beginning of the film, the audience is introduced to the main character, Seth. He is a college dropout, who owns and operates an illegal gambling business for college students, which he runs in his apartment.
