The world advancing and becoming more and more complex every day means that ethics and values will also change through time. People today are asking themselves, “What is ethical and what is not ethical”. One problem dealing with ethics and values is the use of survelance equipment and why it would cause a problem. The use of surveillance equipment is clearly unethical with few reasons as to why it could be useful in our world today. Many types of employers and business’s are using all different kinds of technology related to surveillance. New and complex pieces of equipment such as security cameras, bug detecters,telephone tap detectors,and even tracking devices are being used for many of today’s leading business’s and companies. Major business work areas have used these vastly throughout the past few years. Many of these pieces of equipment have some controversial issues such as the legality and if its ethical to have in many cases.
