Desirae Ollivierre Art Appreciation 101
What Are The Visual Elements?

These elements are what we perceive, the tools we need to envision a work of art, to give us some type of visual pleasure to truly understand what we see. The first of the eight elements I begin with is line. ... From your own visual perceptions when you can actually view it from all angles, is when you can begin to understand the form as a whole. ... One of the many works of art that I can relate the Visual Elements to is the work of Edvard Munch Kiss by the Window.
