“Pragmatism Views of Teaching”

I believe that humans value music because it is the strongest combination of intellect and emotion that we know. It can create individual or group feelings. Music is an experience that we can share with others. It is a way of communication. Music is used and valued everyday in every culture of the world. We should teach music in public schools because music contributes to schools and the surrounding environment. It enhances the quality of life. Music allows ways for students to express themselves through creativity and imagination, unlike any other ways. Using intellect and emotion, students are able to create an aesthetic experience. Making music is one of the best feelings in life and we should not deny the next generation of that feeling. It makes the students day more fun and interesting. Music gives them happiness and a great feeling of achievement. Creating music is its own reward.
