Pediatricians are doctors who care for babies, children, teenagers, and young adults. They treat injuries and diagnose illnesses, and they figure out what is causing the patientÃÔ illness or pain. They also prescribe medicine. If you ever want to be a pediatrician, there are lots of requirements and responsibilities. To become a pediatrician you must first complete four years of general college education. Then you go to medical school for four years of training, and then you graduate with a M.D. degree.
