Women have left or even been pushed away from the church they have attended since a child all because they came forth. Some Christians believe that due to the number of women preachers today, great things are being done in the Christian ministry through women as well as men. There are several reasons why numerous women are coming out the closet and stepping into the pulpit. Women in general in today’s society are stepping up and speaking out more than ever before. There are women principals, women lawyers, women mayors, women doctors, and other women that hold very high positions in American culture. Even in some churches, there are not only women preachers but also women pastors. Years ago, women in high positions would have not even been thinkable.
