The Fads and Fashions of the 1970’s
Every time I see the Old Navy ad with the young one telling us “you got to get this look” underscored by the old disco tune “Boogie oogie oogie”, it makes me laugh and even wince. If your like me and when told of the past fashions of the 1970’s you think, indeed the fashions were interesting but you could never see yourself in the polyester suits doing the John Travolta! Although today’s fashions have evolved, we are still immensely influenced by the 1970’s.
