Making sure you are on time is important because it ensures that you are responsible and it makes sure you are accounted for. Being on time on the leadership side is knowing exactly where your soldiers are at all times and what time theyare expected to return. The soldier is responsible for knowing what he/she returns on time. ... Being on time can prevent dangerous situations from happening. If you have not returned from a mission at an expected time actions can be taken. ... When a soldier is not on time the chain of command has to take time out to find out where his/her soldieer is at. Once the chain of command has found his/her soldier, the soldier has to prepare for the consquences for not being responsible for being on time. Sence i have not upheld my responsibilities for making sure i showed up on time.
